Through our Launch Program, Baffie partnered with us to find a unique positioning, vibe, and message, then bring it to life through product and brand development and the launch of a beautiful website.

The process called for a deep exploration of what makes golf more than a sport. As a children’s brand rooted in the game’s rich traditions, Baffie set out to embody three timeless pillars: Family. Sport. Tradition.

This case study shows how those values came together to create the distinctive and captivating brand world of Baffie.

A Heritage Inspired Palette

The creation of Baffie's brand identity began with establishing a moodboard that harmonized the storied heritage of golf with modern design sensibilities. Drawing from the lush greens of Scottish golf courses and the timeless elegance of golf attire, the moodboard presented a nuanced palette that became the cornerstone of Baffie's visual narrative.

The Mark

Inspired by an image of a father golfing with his son, Baffie’s logo embodies the passing down of golf’s traditions and lessons from one generation to the next. The icon—a small child holding a tall flagpole—acts as a narrative device that instantly conveys the brand’s ethos. Rendered in a storybook illustration style, it bridges the generational gap, inviting both young golfers and their parents into the timeless legacy of the game.

A Tribute to Origins Through the Scottish Thistle

The decision to incorporate the Scottish Thistle into the brand's visual elements was more than a design choice—it was a subtle homage to golf's Scottish roots. Used carefully as both a decorative and a symbolic element, the thistle appears within a seal alongside the Baffie tagline and within the intricacies of the brand pattern. This choice ensures that each interaction with the brand feels connected to the sport's history, enriching the brand narrative with layers of meaning.

Illustrations that tell a story

Illustration is central to Baffie’s identity, creating a world where golf’s legacy is expressed through storytelling. Reminiscent of classic children’s books, the artwork engages, educates, and inspires the next generation by capturing moments of discovery, growth, and tradition. Used across digital platforms and packaging, these illustrations reinforce the brand’s values at every touchpoint.

Each piece is generated with AI using defined prompt parameters from Baffie’s brand guidelines, ensuring both consistency and efficiency.

The Clothing

Baffie’s debut collection balances function with refinement, created to meet the needs of modern families both on and off the course. Each piece transitions effortlessly from play to dinner at the club, with versatile styles designed to mix and match into endless outfits. Thoughtful details—like tee holders tucked into the pockets—give young players the feeling of being true golfers. Crafted from durable, high-quality fabrics, the collection is built to look elevated and withstand repeated wear and washing, round after round.

The Voice

Baffie’s voice was carefully crafted to feel timeless, warm, and story-driven. We leaned into a storytelling style that speaks to both parents and children, layering meaning into every touchpoint. The taglines “Hello, Old Sport” and “A Round for the Ages” balance versatility with depth, with double meanings that speak to the legacy and future of the game simultaneously. Extending this narrative approach, we brought a storybook quality to product naming and descriptions, transforming each garment into a short tale and subtle life lesson. The result is a voice that balances emotional resonance with brand clarity, ensuring Baffie’s messaging feels as distinctive as it is enduring.

The Packaging

A packaging suite was created for Baffie to make every order special. Custom shipping boxes and poly mailers were developed to ensure that the excitement starts the moment the package lands in the customers hands. Inside, items are wrapped in custom patterned tissue paper, adding an extra layer of charm and surprise to the unboxing experience. Each order comes with playful gifts like branded golf tees and Baffie stickers, perfect for our young golfers. This carefully crafted packaging is not just about protecting the products; it's about creating a memorable experience for our customers, making every Baffie purchase feel like a gift.

The Photography

In developing the visual narrative of Baffie, the medium of photography played a large role. The imagery—spanning photographs to videos—aims to be a direct reflection of the textures, colors, and intrinsic emotions highlighted in the Baffie mood board. It was crucial that the lifestyle photography avoided coming across as overly staged. Instead, the goal was to capture moments that feel real and spontaneous, where the kids appear naturally engaged rather than meticulously posed. We wanted to bring an artful eye to photography and make content that feels like its capturing priceless memories.

The Website

The Baffie website was designed to be more than a storefront—it’s a digital extension of the brand world. Every detail, from layout to flow, was created to deliver a fluid user experience that feels intuitive and inviting. The site balances storytelling with commerce: photography captures authentic, candid moments between generations, while copy introduces the voice and values of the brand with clarity and warmth. Together, these elements present Baffie’s story and value proposition in a way that feels seamless and immersive.

Beyond design, we built the infrastructure needed to launch Baffie as a fully functioning business. We set up e-commerce systems that allowed the founders to fulfill orders directly from home, ensuring operational efficiency from day one. We also integrated email marketing and Meta Ads, enabling Baffie to connect with families, build awareness, and drive conversions. The result is a site that not only communicates the heart of the brand, but also equips the business with the tools to grow and succeed.
